Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are looking for somebody to join our Boys Hall family as part of our reception team. This role is very key to Boys Hall and you will be the first point of contact for our guests, handling all incoming calls, emails and enquiries. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests during check-in and working closely with housekeeping to ensure each stay runs smoothly. We very much pride ourselves on excellent customer service and guest engagement, so you must be well spoken in English with a can-do attitude. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Guest Services: Welcome guests during check-in and ensure a smooth arrival experience
Handle all incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries in a professional manner
Liaise with housekeeping team regarding details of guest stays and special requirements
Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest enquiries and requests promptly Events & Enquiries: Manage all incoming enquiries for events and private functions
Work with the events team to ensure seamless booking processes
Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams regarding event requirements Reception Operations: Maintain accurate guest records and booking information
Process payments and handle financial transactions
Ensure reception area is presented to the highest standards at all times
Assist with general administrative duties as required Customer Experience: Anticipate guest needs to enhance their overall Boys Hall experience
Handle any guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner
Work with all departments to ensure exceptional service delivery Requirements: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well spoken English with professional telephone manner
Can-do attitude with strong attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
Professional appearance and manner
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Basic computer skills and ability to learn booking systems
